That's it, GOC cautions Biafra instigators


Enugu – The 82 Division of the Nigerian Army has cautioned instigators for Biafra that they are currently crossing the red line and that its officers and men are fight prepared. 

The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) the division, Brig.- Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, told newsmen in Enugu that the armed force would not crease its hands while such persons devastated lives and property in the nation. 

"The notice to the fomenters is to let them know that nothing more will be tolerated,'' Attahiru said, including that it was unpardonable for troops to stand aside and watch the security circumstance disintegrate, prompting loss of lives or harm to peoperty. 

"The Nigerian Army might want to send an unequivocal cautioning to one and all, all the more particularly to each one of those debilitating and disturbing for the dissection of the nation, conferring treasonable lawful offense and torching. 

"Once conveyed, the Nigerian Army might apply the guidelines of engagement to the letter with the end goal peace should win,'' he said. 

He noticed that the fomenters had recorded instances of wilderness in Aba, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Abakaliki and Enugu. 

Attahiru said that the armed force set aside its opportunity to receive the present stand, saying that it was the essential obligation of the police to keep up specific levels of security in the nation.
